Ahh… the glamour of travel… waiting and waiting at passport control, schlepping your things from place to place, getting cranky and tired from all the waiting and
schlepping… but still so worth it in the end, isn’t it? What
an adventure you had — I’ve only been to Egypt, but would so like to see the rest of the Middle East. Can’t wait to see your part 2…
Wooow… It looks so cool! I want to go on holiday too! I have to wait until october, then I’m going to London and… Now I have start babbling… great to hear from you!
Mika!
I loved this one!
Thansk so much for another one!
Hehe, i love to watch Yasmine. I find it funny how you two fight over alot of things and you usually win. “BUT MY LEGS ARE LONGER! YASMINE!!!!!”
hehe, and that face you made when you cross the border was like “I am so bad, im smuggling into the country!” hehe, the music went well!
Haha, loved this!
And p.s. sorry to off topic, but a woman gave you a LICM Fan Cd made by the member of MFC. This was in Amsterdam. Did you listen yet? I was on it! Hope you like it!
I love this excuse, my legs r longer, hahahah; but it always works___ didn’t think that d big pop star has to wait 4 visa… its d same as with other immortals ___actually..
Haaargh!!!!

God, that 4 hours must have been giving the creeps to you! But, Syria looks nice, and have you ever been told that you have an adoreable smile? XD
Anyways, I’m glad to see you’re ok and that you got the front seat in the end X’DDD
oooooh thanks for this - I love these insights into your life!!
“My legs are longer” hahaha nice.
4hrs at the border, wow…and I thought my adventures at the Costa Rica/Panama border in the middle of the night were bad…lol.
Hope you’re well!

Hey Mika,
were you just woke up in this video ?
don’t worry,you are always handsome :-*
I hope that you should say soon “WELCOME IN ITALY”
BACIO, Lorena.
to be continued lol
Yr sisteer was talking french on the phone she is so pretty ! and ‘my legs are longer Yasmine’ xD what kind of an excuse was that ?? you really are the best
and what did you say 0:39 0:40 ? it sounded like evening soup but soup can’t be old can it ?
Oh, also — nothing to do with Syria, but seeing Yasmine reminds me: here’s a very complimentary mention of her that I ran across in a blog about animation
Meh, Mika, who’s the Instant Martyr? Just put your sister in the back of the car.. tsk! Not cool. It never pays off to bitch like that with your older sisters, believe me, haha!
CIA CIAO MIKA!!!
OK,Yasmine is so beautiful too!
And now I want to tell you A Little Story. The last year I danced in Milan and every morning I watched MTV, that is the way I’ve seen for the first time one guy by name MIKA which absolutely differed from all other singers and I’ll tell fairly I liked him most of all. Every time when the song began I and my friend sang together:”…No hope,no love,no glory… “- and a little later:”…everybody’s gonna LOVE TODAY,love today!…” -and the good mood came. ( oh, I forgot to say, I’m a ballerina and live in fairy-tale motion:))Then I’ve got into the Company and forgot everything. This summer I spend my vacation in La Rochelle……and the last day of Francofolies looked to the list:…………. and Mika! “Mm,that’s going to be interesting,”- I thought. But couldn’t imagine that it will be SO STARTLING!!!MIKA-you are the GREAT TALANT( i thing you’re guessing),great voice!!!The rest of my vacation has passed under impression.Thank you! And now, what does Olga do when she whant’s to get inspiration? Does she look to the ballet videos or listen to music wich she loves so much? Nooo. She reads mika’s blog, listen to his music, watch videos with Mika and then goes to the balletclass or right to the stage! Haha! Strange! Funny! But it really works!!! Thank you again!
OK. the novel of Dostoevsky is finished!
Wish you a lot of forces and good mood and LOVE to create new chef-d’oeuvre and to have time to answer yours funs(Ohoho :]] sometimes it can be difficult!)
( Sorry for my english please )***
P.S. Maybe you speak Russian a little as you had a russian professor, havn’t you? just interesting. cause I’m russian.)
HOLA MIKA!!! HOW ARE YOU THIS SATURDAY !!(IS THE MORNING HERE)
I LOVE TO SEE THIS MOMENTS OF YOUR LIFE THAT ARE FUNNY AND GREAT.
THE LANDSCAPE IS A LITTLE SIMILAR TO THE LANDING NEAR HERE (WE´RE IN A GREEN VALLEY!!! )
THAT TRAVEL WAS TIREDNESS, NO? BECAUSE OF YOUR FACE!!!
YOU LOOK SO GOOD WHEN YOU ´RE TIRED!!!
IT REMINDS ME OF WHEN WE TRAVEL TO THE RANGE IN MY PATAGONIA, ALTHOUGH WE TRAVEL…BY CAR.
ABOUT 600 KM!!!!
WE PUT THE SAME FACE OF TIRED BUT IS AS FUNNY AS WHAT HAPPENS TO YOU.
KEEP POSTING THIS(I WANNA SEE THE “TO BE CONTINUED”)
THANK YOU FOR SHARE THIS MOMENTS.
CHAU CHAU.
BESOS AND SEE YOU SOON!
I never get to sit in the front of the car if my sister also is in the car, that’s not fair!
You always crack me up this summer I really needed it… and now, I am soon entering adult life; in about a week I’ll be moving into my flat, and in about three weeks I will start my new job as a learning disability nurse within the mental health. And then I have many, many boring bills to pay…
Well, take care, and enjoy this Saturday night, I know I will
Thank you for sharing your hols with us…it is great to see you arguing withyour family in so many different locations! No, seriously, love it…thanks again x
To be continued? haha xD
Did you tired at 11:00? xD Your face demonstrate this haha xD
But you re beatifull tired, bored, funny, crazy….anyway..xD
Well…I have to go to my drama class xD
Byee!!
Mikeros kisses!!
hahaha, at least you got in.. i on the other hand got locked up in shanghai fr a day due to visa issues, after a wonderful 10hour flight, but fortunately they sent me back the next day and boy were the air-hostesses shocked..”Back so soon?” lol , anyway can’t wait till part 2, c ya!
hahahha Mika this funny watching you and Yasmine bickering You looked tired but believe me I know all about having to wait around!
In July I overcame my fear of flying and headed for Amsterdam to see you! Everything went great on the way out but when we got there things began to go very bad! My fiance forgot his drivers license and we were told we couldnt get our rental car. Fortuneatley we got it in the end. Then we headed for Groningen which normally takes 2 hours but it took us 5 hours as we got seriously lost. Then the day of the gig we left for amsterdam at about 5am and waited for you! It poured rain but we didnt care :)The gig was spectacular!!! Then the way home we were delayed for hours at schipol airport as there was a complete radar failure in Dublin LOL!!! What a first time experience!!! BUT IT WAS ALL WORTH IT!!!!
Trop bien ton excuse pour t’assoir devant:”my legs are longer”
Hey Mika!
So your legs are longer than Yasmine´s ! lol
You seem to be happy there!
I wish i could travel as much as you did!
My brother is taller than me, 1.91 meters and i would never let him sit where i am because his legs are longer lol
just kidding
Your sister is really nice!
The best for you
Jazmin <3
Syria! Finally! Did I ever mention Damascus is one of my favourite places on Earth? You made me remember so many things: waiting at the border, terible heat, ‘bukra in sha’ allah’… And do I see a ‘hop-hop’ in Bagdad St. in Damascus?
Awwwww, I hope you had a good time there, it’s a very interesting place, isn’t it? Did you like Alepo market? And Damascus mosque? Impressive, I cried the first time I saw the mosaics, but of course, I’m an archaeologist, I’m supposed to do such weird things
Hey you! Don’t be mean to Yasmine, you little spoilt brat! You always have to get what you want, right? Hahahahahaha. Ok, as long as she doesn’t mind
Again and again, thank you, can’t wait for part II (and I have a confession to make: I’m looking forward to it more for being Syria than for being you, sowwy, don’t be mad at me, it’s been ages since I haven’t gone there, and I met you less than a month ago…)
poor yasmine… tsst tsst mika.
first you take her sunglasses, then you hit her and now you are taking her seat!!!! does she ever get her way? ;o) if i were you, i’d be nice to her. or else, she may put you in some awful looking clothes next time you go on stage… truth is… you act like my kids do ;o)
thanks for this exhilarant video mika. LOL my legs are not that long but my “excuse” to get the front seat is always “i feel nauseous in the back of the car”. though it’s not very gentleman-like of you *taking sides with yasemine* lol forgive me but we sisters with younger brothers have to stick together
syria is a amazin country, mika are u doin a tour in the arab countries if u are plz come to Kuwait, all the fans are badly waitin for u, especcially me , and i love u!!!!!!!!!
Oh mince..
Ohh Mika you look tired at the beginning! You have rings around the eyes and all
But your face of happiness when you entered Syria is gorgeous! Your eyes were shining, hehe
I wish you the best in your next trips. I still don’t get much what happened with Yasmine in your car (everybody speaking at the same time! No, actually…it’s my bad hearing )
But I’ll get it soon! (with a little help from my mikabuddies)
Hey!! my friend just got back from syria!! she has family there….
LOL i like how you are fighting over the front seat. me and my sister fight over the front seat ALL the time. and i definetely pull the whole “i’m taller/ my legs are longer than yours” to get the front!! haha! great minds think alike….
Where’s the rest MIKA? You just can’t leave us hanging. Well, you did so you can. Love Ya. Oh, I do hope it was worth the wait. I’m sure it was because you probably wouldn’t have done it. Bye.
¡¡¡HOLAAA MIKAA!!! ¿CÓMO ESTÁS? lol!
I love this video! It’s so funny ^^
(Despite a long time to wait is not funny) lol!
I’ll be wating the second part ^^
Well, Mika.. I have to go lunch (is midday in Argentina)
Forgive me for my english, u know, is very bad :$
¡BESOS DESDE ARGENTINA!
Poor thing!I know how it is to wait 5 hours(when I think about it I waited ever 12 hours!)
Youre lucky that yasmine is your sister. My brother wont let me sit where he was.
I hope that it was fun their!
I love when you post videos from other countries, because I have never been outside the US and it is incredibly interesting for me to see different parts of the world through videos like this
Bisous
XXX
trying hard not to fall asleep in front of the camera? XD
anyway I absolutely love this kind of vlog!! and the surroundings look so so pretty!
and taking an eternity getting into the car, that’s so funny and typical for siblings too XD
yeah just make my day worse x( after just hearing that my friends from syria aren’t coming home this year so i’m not getting any of that delicious cheese LOL watch mika’s blog and see “welcome to syria” haha
no really i’m not mad thanks for posting, it’s awesome i so want to go there…i could wait a day-long for a visa really if i could just go there :-:)
Mika, you looked so tired in this vid.
I didn’t know you went to Syria. Do they always let people wait for so long to enter that country? (or only the people that look ’suspicious’ )
I hope you enjoyed that puzzle.
Ooo a puzzle I love puzzles! Would we be seeing it completed?
LOL I love how both of you are always fighting reminds me of my bro and I since we always fought for the front seat…till he got his own car and he usually won too so I know the feeling…not nice Mika, not nice
Can’t wait for pt. 2 to see more of Syria!!!
Can’t wait for part 2!!!! Love the bit where you’re about to enter Syria (or already are I dunno 4 sure) it looks like you’re on a roalarcoaster ride(sorry don’t know how to write that) especially with the music on the background.
Funny how when you talk about your sister (like in interviews or something) you pronounce her name the English/western way and when you talk to her, the Arab way. So do we at home, why is that?(well the first part of my name means WHORE!!! in Dutch that surely beats your ‘plastic bag’ doesn’t it?? And the weird thing is that my name means angel in Arab and freedom in Moroccan se that’s quite decent. I’m never going to forgive my parents 4 doing this to me….I desperatly need therapy right now!!!!
If I had to wait 4 hours to came into a country I think I would’nt be very patient….xDD
And nevertheless I am rather patient !
And say that I complained to have spent one half-afternoon to make a necklace in buttons xDD !
The next time I’ll not say anything and I’ll think of your video in Syria ! lol
Sorry If I made Mistakes I’m not English xD !
Kises and I hope that you recovered from this wait !!
4 hours? You need to get yourself one of those Lebanese ID cards, you’ll sale through then
Hope you had fun in the souk, my hubby went last year and ate camel, did you eat camel?
It’s so nice to travel virtually around the world with you.
And your little fights with Yasmine like in this vid or in the vid of Nimes make me laugh.
Some things never change even though you grow up.
haha, roadtrips are funny aren’t they? Can’t wait for part 2.
Guess where I was today - Glamour Stiletto Run. I can’t belive how they could run so fast with heels. Even a lot of tourists joined and some got through to the final but I didn’t stay to watch it cuz it was so rainy.
I watched Valentín anotherday, it was the sweetest film ever. I was on the edge to cry when he gave back the truck to his dad’s ex (forgot her name) but it was a great end and I just love Valentín character. I whis that he was my neighbour
Take care about you and your family.
And plz tell us what happens now inside the studio
OMG
I also always want to sit in front, because I also have long legs. It’s really fustrating if shorter people sit in front.
I know how that feels
My mom does that everytime, conscious.. And she’s so much shorter thn I am..!
You had to wait for 4 hours !!!!
but I guess it was worth waiting, considering your big smile and your kind of childish eyes when you cross the border
I was wondering, have you ever visited Israël???
dont u just love these family trips!
well gets a bit “crazy” some times but its worth it!!
((MIKA))
TO BE CONTINUED…
PS. I am going to tell all my friends in Syria there gonna totally flip!!!!
Nice vid, Mika..
And arguing with Yasmine about who is sitting in the front seats of the car looked too familiar.. It’s how me and my brother were always arguing during our family travels
Also loved the ending shot of the car in front of yours (the fiat). I have one, see?
Hi Mika,
maybe a little more sleep would be good for you. O.K. I also sleep very little, because I´m chatting with my friends every night, but I don´t look so tired like you in this vid. But I think you had a lot of fun.
Good night
Sabine
Goshh you must be tired. The longest I’ve ever had to wait to get into another country is about a day. Was abit boring afta a while lol.
Enjoy Syria… It looks kinda hot though. Bet it would make up for the weather here in Wales, which is wet of course haha. Makes me wish i was on holiday too =].x.
Ha ha ha! “Yasmine! My legs are longer!”…you’re the one,Mika
I love when you have those little fights with your sister,it’s very funny to watch (especially cuz I don’t have any brothers or sisters lol) and the two of you are so cute!
Love the vid, looking forward to the part two!
Aahh, problems with Visa…I know the feeling!
Oh btw,I’ve heard from some people who were in Syria that Damascus is wonderful old city…I’d really love to see it!
It’s always nice to see something brand new from you, wether it’s written blog or a video.well done Mika!
Buona sera Mikuzzo bbbello!
Very very funny this video!!!
I saw it a lot of time, I made laugh when you do “that strange small voice” and then all the various comments that follow and finally your beautiful smile lights up your face and in your eyes I see the “flash of genius” what have you thought at that time???
However you are always beautiful even when you are very tired!!!
I can’t wait to see the continuation!!!
I greet your sister Yasmine always very nice (one of my child was in love with she!!)
You are amazing,4ever MARI AND SONS.(kisses!!!!!)
Bisous, Marie XXX
Hi..Woah you waited nearly 5 hours just to come in Syria..Except for going in Egypt I would not have so much patience! I am in a hurry to see what can Syria offer..To be continued so…Kisses and love…
It’s great to travel all around the world with you in front of my laptop : comfortable and cheap!!! I’d love to visit Syria : next time take me with you, I’ve got very short legs
Axx
YO MIKA,
When I go on a road trip,
“LICM” is my companion.
I was wondering what music
YOU listen to on a road trip?
OR
do you prefer “peace ‘n’ quiet” after a string of gigs?
OR are there too many people in the car
to agree on music–or anything else?
OR do your prefer to demonstrate affection by exchanging insults?
Just wonder, wonder, wonder . . .
Daily brother’s fight. It’s always the same, you live together and this kind of fight shows how close you are. Anyways … she was very angry, wasn’t she?
have you got your entire family with you on this trip?
Hope so…
it’s gonna be really strong and emotionnal for you all.
Have you ever been together in those countries (Lebanon, Syria…) before?
Anyway, I hope you’ve enjoyed it as best as you can, and I’m waiting for the next part!
did you say that you’ll go to the “souk”? Did I hear right?…Just wondering.
I know that a lot of comments are already say it, but…What a smile on your face! You look like a 6 years old boy visiting Disneyland for the first time!
Your spontaneity is so sweet!
Special kiss and thought for Yasmine who’s bear you however you are!
She must love you so much.

Blimey, you weren’t kidding when you said you aren’t a morning person!!!
You look, for the want of a better word, rough!
I guess by the time you were given clearance to go, you had drunk the café out of espresso, judging by how perky you seemed 3 hours later lol!
Looking forward to pt 2, and I like the way you “just happened” to be behind a Fiat campervan, PRICELESS!!!
Ha ha ha.
Your first impression of Syria was a strange woman struggling for your taxi??! Oh no, what a “nice” impression - but you had managed this in a real polite and calm way, no fight for the car! Hope you enjoyed your stay anyway.
- And perhaps its good to sleep more… although I`m not in the position to recommend you this - it’s nearly 2 in the morning and I’m still awake
So let me tell you one thing quickly:
Thank you for sharing your vids with us, you are treaten us like … friends.. merci
you’re so lovely to your sister “But…my legs are longer!” i say that to my mom too.
There was a fold up chair and a normal chair and she made me sit on the fold up chair because im skinny and wouldnt break it. And i told her “But…I’m smarter!” which didn’t work.
woooooooo it`s terrible! 4 or 5 hour to enter to syria, that is pretty pretty boring! i can`t wait to see the other video! really…. LOL
kisses, and take care!
Hello mika! I am M@r. .one fan very distant unfortunately ¬¬ haha (I am of Argentina)… good I write you for congratulations you, (and it is not because I am one fan) but you are a genius composing music, singing, etc.I just want to request that you come to the ARGENTINA, but indeed to Cordoba since many fans we cannot travel to Europe…
And I have give you the thanks, because thanks to you I met to my better friends, (also “mikeras”) haha.

“The test begins–now”…That song always reminds me of Hillel: “If I am not for myself, then who will be for me? And if I am only for myself, then what am I? And if not now, when?”…xr
Yup, like I said in my last comment (re Dancing Bed) you do have long legs so I’m with you on this, I do think you should have got the front seat, (sorry Yasmine!)LOL
BUT, does that mean when you do get the front seat that you’re one of those people who then pushes the seat right back so the poor person behind (which in my case, usually ends up being little me), has to sit with their knees up by their chin because there’s no leg room at the back???!
Can’t wait to see the rest of this trip - don’t they say that the best thing about travelling is the journey or something?? Tired, cranky, bored, lots of bickering - but oh, so worth it in the end!!

P.S. Maybe you speak Russian a little as you had a russian professor, havn’t you? just interesting. cause I’m russian.)

hahahha Mika this funny watching you and Yasmine bickering
You looked tired but believe me I know all about having to wait around!

Syria!

I’m never going to forgive my parents 4 doing this to me….I desperatly need therapy right now!!!!

haha, roadtrips are funny aren’t they? Can’t wait for part 2.
Guess where I was today - Glamour Stiletto Run. I can’t belive how they could run so fast with heels. Even a lot of tourists joined and some got through to the final but I didn’t stay to watch it cuz it was so rainy.
I watched Valentín anotherday, it was the sweetest film ever. I was on the edge to cry when he gave back the truck to his dad’s ex (forgot her name) but it was a great end and I just love Valentín character. I whis that he was my neighbour
Take care about you and your family.

I also always want to sit in front, because I also have long legs. It’s really fustrating if shorter people sit in front.
I know how that feels
My mom does that everytime, conscious.. And she’s so much shorter thn I am..!

YO MIKA,
When I go on a road trip,
“LICM” is my companion.
I was wondering what music
YOU listen to on a road trip?
OR
do you prefer “peace ‘n’ quiet” after a string of gigs?
OR are there too many people in the car
to agree on music–or anything else?
OR do your prefer to demonstrate affection by exchanging insults?
Just wonder, wonder, wonder . . .
Clelia :

Daily brother’s fight. It’s always the same, you live together and this kind of fight shows how close you are. Anyways … she was very angry, wasn’t she?

discovering a new country “with” you…GREAT!
have you got your entire family with you on this trip?
Hope so…
it’s gonna be really strong and emotionnal for you all.

Your first impression of Syria was a strange woman struggling for your taxi??! Oh no, what a “nice” impression
- but you had managed this in a real polite and calm way, no fight for the car! Hope you enjoyed your stay anyway.
- And perhaps its good to sleep more… although I`m not in the position to recommend you this - it’s nearly 2 in the morning and I’m still awake
So let me tell you one thing quickly:

Thanks for sharing this with us, honey!
