Waou ça c’est ce qui s’apelle faire un coup d’effet! C’est superbement étonnant! Un grand bravo à Sophie, son dessin est vraiment trés raffiné et le collage assemblage est vraiment bien trouvé!! Bon tu t’en tires bien finalement sur ce coup-là tu n’as pas dessiné grand chose! lol
C’est dingue, il y a juste quelques minutes avant de voir ce blog je réécoutais quelques chansons et commençais à être très nostalgique (ça fait un an depuis mon premier concert.. depuis j’ai un peu abusé de tes shows je l’avoue)…. Et là, tu postes par magie :D… drôle de sensation d’un coup…

This is simply delightful! I would love to have this illustration (or part-”collage” I guess, as it incorporates your piece of paper with your note to Sophie) on my wall!
It’s not what I expected at all (not sure what I did expect, but not this, anyway!!) Is this what you ‘expected’ or are you as surprised and charmed by what Sophie came up with as me??
I imagined that this girl had something brilliant that would make the original with your magic touch, THE DRESS, congratulations to Sophie that it is simply fantastic!
This girl, curious me, because it seems that she is hurrying to go somewhere, looking behind, not to be followed by someone, to pull out something special from that box, I think the box is not full, but contains something or some things very precious to her, who knows what will be?
Or I’m thinking that since the girl has cheeks reddened, could get away with the box of a
another girl (or boy, or brother, or sister …) and a little ashamed to have stolen the box to this mysterious other person running behind her,because her eyes are looking at something or someone behind her!
But, it could also be that the girl is running along with the mysterious person, who remained behind, to play along with objects in the box and she has cheeks reddened because it is heavy and she find hard to run with it on arms…
So, if the box is heavy, there must be something heavy inside, for example some old books or old clothes of the grandmother (no, this last thing I am not too sure why the box is too small!)
Well, I could go on indefinitely to make assumptions, but to me are closing my eyes because I sleep (in Italy are the 12:15 p.m.) tomorrow maybe I will have new ideas,

I have call, the girl of the picture, “Violetta” (Violet), because she is very slender and delicate, she’s light, in the picture seems to be suspended in the air, certainly she has looks like a girl other times, I place her in America in the 1950,
has the features of a porcelain doll she is very refined,

I imagined that this girl had something brilliant that would make the original with your magic touch, THE DRESS, congratulations to Sophie that it is simply fantastic!
This girl, curious me, because it seems that she is hurrying to go somewhere, looking behind, not to be followed by someone, to pull out something special from that box, I think the box is not full, but contains something or some things very precious to her, who knows what will be?
Or I’m thinking that since the girl has cheeks reddened, could get away with the box of a
another girl (or boy, or brother, or sister …) and a little ashamed to have stolen the box to this mysterious other person running behind her,because her eyes are looking at something or someone behind her!
But, it could also be that the girl is running along with the mysterious person, who remained behind, to play along with objects in the box and she has cheeks reddened because it is heavy and she find hard to run with it on arms…
So, if the box is heavy, there must be something heavy inside, for example some old books or old clothes of the grandmother (no, this last thing I am not too sure why the box is too small!)
Well, I could go on indefinitely to make assumptions, but to me are closing my eyes because I sleep (in Italy are the 12:15 p.m.) tomorrow maybe I will have new ideas,

Tout à fait dans le style de Sophie Blackall…On a l’impression qu’il y a toute une histoire derrière et chacun peut l’interpréter comme il veut..
J’adore l’expression du visage de la petite fille, un mélange de douceur, de sérieux avec un brin de malice , elle me rappelle quelqu’un en plus

This is brilliant. A nice response to all those who commented along the lines of: “hey, aren’t you cheating on your own game? You should have drawn something instead of writing a note!” Quite daring to put it into a collage.

I have call, the girl of the picture, “Violetta” (Violet), because she is very slender and delicate, she’s light, in the picture seems to be suspended in the air, certainly she has looks like a girl other times, I place her in America in the 1950,
has the features of a porcelain doll she is very refined,
if I had had a daughter she would have been!
