It was an awesome concert!! I couldn’t stop jumping, dancing, singing and screaming. I even saw some older women who were sitting on the chairs stood up to dance!! That was pretty funny :D

The concert was officialy awesomly madly amazingly freakingly CRAZY…it was greatt..and i was 2 meters away from the stage:D…and whats greater?that mika’s voice ,performane are just GREAT its so rare to find artists that have the same great voice live like on cd:D…it was the greatest concert ever,i enjoyed every seconds of it,every rythme,i shouted i danced i sang with every beat of my heart!i just couldnt stop !THANKS MIKA…IT WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST NIGHTS OF MY LIFE ^.^...thanks for everybody who made this concert possible…and your always welcomed in lebanon...hope u enjoyed it as we did!:D….and thanks for givin us a night to remember:D…which i hope it will happen again hopefully when ur next cd will be out:D….

Je ne peux rien dire d’original ici: tout le monde est porté par le même enthousiasme !!! Tout a été dit, mais j’ai tout de même besoin de m’exprimer… trop d’émotions m’assaillent.

Ce concert, c’est plus qu’un spectacle, c’est même plus qu’une communion avec une foule… C’est une communion avec un peuple, le tien.
C’est une explosion d’espoir et de positivité... Mika je ne sais pas pour toi mais moi j’ai ressenti ça comme un moment d’Histoire, un tournant spectaculaire. Tu es le symbole du Liban auquel on a tous envie de penser: tu transcendes l’image de ce formidable pays, et désormais c’est ton image pétillante qui vient en mémoire instantanément et plus ces images tristes de morts violentes. Ça faisait si longtemps que j’attendais ça…
Ce soir, tu as été le messager de Dieu… Qu’il te protège et te chérisse ainsi que les tiens. Ce soir il a mis son pouvoir dans tes mains, par ses outils les plus puissants: la musique et l’amour.

I was there! It was truly an amazing concert. Top notch performance by Lebanon’s own. You could literally feel the electricity in the crowd with every “Love Love Me” and “Ring Ring”. You could feel the pride in everyone’s eyes as they raised their heads to take a peak at that crazy, jumping, flashy, high-tone-hitting, drum-hitting, piano-playing, and all around entertaining performer knowing he’s from the land they call home. I tip my hat off to you Mika, you truly made us all proud. Thank you for an amazing show!

I’m so happy for all who was there. It was a special moment and what a great end of a great tour. Simply magically and so moving.

i gotta say one thing: i was kind of a lukewarm fan before this concert. i always knew you were violently funny and entertaining, but i never really had a mika “phase.” ok, im a 21 yr old guy and henceforth too old for phases, but no matter. my point is: that concert was out of this FUCKING world. my vocal cords are SHOT. i havent jumped/screamed/sweat/experienced an adrenaline rush like that in a very long time! that was pure genius—i’d never been so entertained in my life! like the 12 yr old girl standing politely next to me was probably taken aback by how loud i was, judging by the looks of disdain she kept throwing my direction.

also, vocally—dude that was insane! i was kind of afraid you were gonna overuse the backing track thing (cuz lots of singers do that, especially when their songs are as lively as yours), but fucking shit that classical training really came in handy didn’t it?? that was some great work!

im impressed! come back to beirut soon, yea??

I can understand why you were so proud to have done this concert, it looked amazing - and from what I’ve read of the reports from those lucky enough to have been there, and watched the vids they have posted - it looked incredible, the setting, the crowd, everything.  Makes me very proud too to be a Mika fan, and it was lovely too see some of the UK news press picking up on this concert and showing reports from it too.  About bloody time too.

J’étais à ton concert, place des martyrs à Beyrouth, c’était juste magique…
En état de délire total et oubliant les regards médusés de quelques « madame de Pompadour » brochingées (ça s’écrit comme ça ?!) et laquées, j’ai ressenti une immense joie de vivre et des frissons des pieds à la tête, en dansant et me croyant certainement seule dans ma salle de bain….
Ma petite sœur qui t’adore était là aussi, malheureusement je n’ai pas pu m’asseoir à côté d ‘elle, mais durant tout ce moment, je n’ai pas cessé de penser à l’émotion qu’elle devait ressentir…
À la fin du concert, je m’attendais à la revoir toute souriante et heureuse, mais c’est en pleurant qu’elle est revenue vers moi.
Apparemment les adultes à côté d’elle n’ont pas été très gentils, la poussant, refusant qu’elle danse, qu’elle bouge, bref refusant qu’elle exprime sa joie, se croyant peut être à un concerto d’Opéra sous les hauteurs de Baalbek…
C’est ma petite sœur, et je n’ai pas pu être là pour la défendre, alors je lui ai dit de t’écrire un mot sur son t-shirt et lui ai fait la promesse qu’il te parviendrait.
Je ne veux pas qu’elle pense que tout les adultes sont bêtes et méchants, mais qu’elle garde le meilleur, et le plus longtemps possible son innocence, en sachant que si parfois il peut arriver des choses désagréables on peut aboutir à quelque chose de positif.
Je ne sais pas ce qu’elle t’a écrit, mais je sais que c’est une petite fantastique, pleine d’imagination, de maturité, qui fait des choses incroyables, qui se soucie des autres et qui par-dessus tout respecte les choses.
Alors j’ai pris mon courage à 2 mains, révoltée de cette histoire, et suis allé demander à une personne du staff si c’était possible qu’il te remettre le t-shirt, et la personne a promit à son tour que tu l’aurait.
J’espère vraiment que tu l’as reçu et que tu lui fera un signe peu importe quand et peu importe comment, parce que je veux que cette histoire finisse en happy ending pour lui montrer que dans la vie, rien ne sert de se prendre au sérieux, mais juste garder sa joie de vivre et son sourire pour que des choses magiques se produisent.
C’est pourquoi, je ne veux pas qu’elle sache que j’ai écrit cette lettre et donc qu’elle soit diffusée.
