Grapefruits are good for you! I like them, but if you dont like them because they’re too bitter and sour here’s a tip: sprinkle some sugar on top, it brings out the sweet flavour of the grapefruit! Makes them taste a lot better! =D

lol, when i saw the LOTR pic i was like “what the hec!? thats Frodo, but its Mika, uhm im confused… this is obviously photoshoped….” reading that bit about grapefruit brought back memories… there was a house down my street that had a grapefruit tree.. it grew over their fence and onto the street, i couldent help but to “take” a few, they were disgusting…

Someone just sent me this vid… I’m somewhat torn between saying “this is brilliant” and “this person has way too much time on his hands” lol !!!

You know what you should do?
Peel the grapefruit, then separate each piece and remove their “skin” (I don’t know if that’s the word) because that’s what makes the fruit so sour. That way you will love it! I used to hate it too lol… I hope my explanation is clear

What “jewel” that film! I have written to you that I saw it “only” 5 times (between cinema and TV)?
The adventures of hobbit Frodo and with a group of friends of his race and other companions adventure is facing an undertaking overlooking a spectacular film, able to keep the protagonists of the characteristics of ‘humanity’ that does not felt distant.
You think, for example, the scene where Bilbo feels the emergence the evil, in his personality and manages to translate visually inner conflict.
In addition to the events of the many adventure and special effects, the scenes were exceptional, they are photographed in New Zealand as a magical place (and in my view it is)!
The attention to detail and work on the change of artistic and architectural perspective is a potential to make environments of the protagonists.
The director has managed to put together 3 film as a single film, with the chronology of events, suspance, coups scene created to perfection but especially the basis for a film with a sense: the ideals, this is the key word for many films meaningless created just for putting up the money!!
I am referring to the friendship between the Fellowship of but especially between Frodo and Sam that
for their friendship was about to drown and the other side of affection: love!
Love between Aragorn and Arwen that is the hope and encouragement to move forward and fight.
Hope nourishes the courage and that is exactly what enters the scene just when things go wrong.
To me the fight between good and evil is not confined to the myth or something detached from reality, it reflects the real world,there is something beyond imagination: that is particular that’s in myths and folk legends, something generated by those beliefs and traditions, despite various attempts of man to try to “bring order” in the world.
As you see, tonight my fingers can not stop running above the keyboard, but unfortunately I must stop ...

As I like this moment of my day, when I put me in front of the screen of my laptop and start to think (and dream)what I want to let you know.

But this tour, I had heard about it, and I wouldn’t stand missing it ... Between baby and Mika, there is obviously no possible choice you know ... Anyway, I told if you taste something for eight times you’ll start liking it… probably. Didn’t work for me and red whortleberries, which are also supposed to be good for you.

The posters are really funny, I have seen them loads on MFC.

I suggested this House of Culture in Helsinki that sits 900. Is that too big a theater for your acoustic tour? Rufus Wainwright was there last April and it was a fantastic night. Wherever you intend to perform I’ll be at least one concert as long as it’s in Europe. Can’t wait for it and the art project and the album. Next year is going to be so amazing!

I also hate grapefruit. I try to eat it because of the vitamin C and other healthy stuff in them, but it just tastes so bad! I hear the darker the inside, the ‘sweeter’ they are, but they never taste sweet to me. In the end, I have to put so much sugar on them, the nutritional value is lost anyway.

Not sure if anyone has suggested this already since i really dont feel the need to read all of the 291 other comments, but you should eat your grapefruit with honey, just pour one or two spoons of honey over them and that’ll totally change the taste!

accoustic tour huh? for small crowds huh? you are an evil man, how are all of us supposed to get tickets???  I hear the grand theatre in Utrecht (netherlands) has a great sound. they put some sort of special fabric on the walls there to make the sound sound better (does that make sense?)
